Sounds Familiar are rehearsing a brand new show called "Magic of the Musicals" which will be performed in the Spring of 2021. The show was originally scheduled for October 2020, but had to be postponed after rehearsals were stopped due to the Covid-19 lockdowns.

The show will include songs and routines from many well-known musical theatre productions.

We are currently looking for more singers and dancers to join us for Magic of the Musicals.

Broadway Tonight

Broadway Tonight

Broadway Tonight continued Sounds Familiar's 10th Anniversary year and included numbers from shows dating from 1945 to 2015. Among the routines was one from Mary Poppins with flying kites. The show included Chess, Book of Mormon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Annie and many more.



The 10th Anniversary show featuring many routines from previous productions as well as other showstopping tunes from various Broadway and West End musicals. Featured musicals included Cats, Chess, Joseph, Anything Goes and more.

Pirates of Penzance

Pirates of Penzance

In March 2018 Sounds Familiar performed a staged concert version of The Pirates of Penzance. The cast was fully costumed but also had a narrator (complete with deckchair). All the dialogue and songs were included, but no dancing or other movement.
