Broadway Tonight

Continuing their 10th anniversary year Sounds Familiar performed a musical revue called "Broadway Tonight" in November 2019.

The show opened with a segment from "Something Rotten" which only opened on Broadway about 5 years earlier and is set in Elizabethan London. The cast had great fun with the costumes before changing into their familiar outfits for some Andrew Lloyd Webber numbers.

Moving on through various styles of show the group performed routines from Annie, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Book of Mormon, Sunset Boulevard and Sweet Charity. One of the highlights was the return on the "Sounds Familiar Ladies" with a hilarious routine to Hey Big Spender in dressing gowns and rollers while trying to look alluring! (see below)
